substep
Hi, when blowing through walls with multiple objects - outterwall, studs, and innerdrywall, What is the best way to constrain objects together? If I glue all objects together, and cluster them, they're too strong to break by an object hitting the wall, but still slowly start to fall after a few seconds. If I glue each object together to itself, then some random glue constraints to stick wall pieces to studs, that's too strong also. If I just focus on one wall, It works great, and I can achieve whatever sort of look i'm after, But things become unbreakable with multiple layers? So how are other people approaching this? what is best way to blow through a wall with more complicated objects than just concrete? Also, If I set mass manually in RBD fracture object dop, is that setting it for each piece? or for the object, then figuring out mass of each piece? thanks!! substep
I downloaded build 12.5.381 and it's behaving much better. I can actually get objects fully through the wall, and it seems to be respecting a high and low strength setting on glue cluster sop. nobody likes me cause I'm new Edited April 23, 2013 by substep
