slamfunk Posted May 16, 2013 Share Posted May 16, 2013 Hey guys, I just created a little RBD sim with pre fractured geometry and my first issue is that for some reason my geometry is coming back in to SOPS after DOPS with points only and no primitives! And yet when I look at the sim in the dopnet it is fine.... Anyone had this issue before? The image attached highlights what I am saying... Gracias! tjeeds Posted May 16, 2013 Share Posted May 16, 2013 Sometimes primitives just straight-up disappear because of the viewport crapping out. You can test if this is happening by opening a new Scene View tab or by switching your viewport renderer to H11. slamfunk Posted May 20, 2013 Author Share Posted May 20, 2013 This definitely wasn't a viewport issue. I did the old switcharoo between tabs and it didn't change. Restarted and even rebuilt the scene. The only thing that fixed it was opening an older version of Houdini. Been having ridiculous issues since 12.5...
