exel
I was just doing something with the ubiquitous creep SOP and suddenly noticed the SOP's "Attribute" tab...A few options on there, "Set Point Attributes From Path", and "Set Creep UV Attribute". Some someone give me a quick explanation what those 2 toggles do, and what they might be used for? The SOP's help page doesn't mention them. Thx Much... -JS-
Wolfwood
The "Set Creep UV Attribute" copies the uv data from the surface you project onto (2nd input) to the geometry you projected (1st input). So if you project a point onto a grid and move the point around so its in the middle that point will have a creepuv attribute with the value of (.5,.5). The "Set Point Attribute From Path" does the same thing. In the "From Point" line and the "Set" column you could put 'Cd" and your projected point will copy the Cd attribute from the surface. Think of it as a poor man's Attribute Transfer. And I know how much you like those.
