sanostol
I want to add gravity to a pyrosim and want to use a additional field to control the strength of the gravity. the documentation says that if a force is used in scaled forces the forcescale field can multiply the force, but it has no effect. inside the smokesolver the density is used to modify the force, but not the field named forcefield. Am I missing something here I made a little file to demonstrate Martin forcefield.hip
bloomendale
i think you're right - just change change density to your field in external forces microsolver inside smoke solver.
sanostol
right, but I think it should work different, at least I read the documentation different. and by substituting density by forcescale You take out density
bloomendale
just mix your field with density in some way and use result in ext. forces microsolver. Using density is not very accurate anyway cause you should use normalized field in Density channel of the microsolver.
