meshsmooth
I have asked many questions about chops and got almost no response. Is chops just foreran to almost everyone? Can you make otls with chops?
Stremik
Most likely you would have better luck getting answers to your CHOPs related questions on SideFX Mailing list. There is only a handfull of people who knows their way around CHOPs hangout on this forum.
Wolfwood
Ask away... I use chops more than I care to admit.
meshsmooth
How would you make an orientation constraint with CHOPs By orientation constraint I mean you can apply it to a bone that is in a chain and it will always point in the same direction as the object that is supplying the orientation. The solution should work while the parent of the object receiving the orientation is changing its orientation in all axes. So no matter what direction the parent and its parents are aiming or animating, the object receiving the orientation will always point in the same orientation. All the solutions based on chops that I have come up with are not very tolerant to parent orientation changes. I have worked out one solution that uses blend objects and nulls sandwitched between bones but there must be a way that uses chops.
