A. Morales
Is there any way to keep the indirect emission from a pyro volume when i have the rest of the scene matted out (matte option checked in rendering tab) Im trying to just render the explosion and also have the indirect emission pass show up, but enabling matte rendering, causes no information in the indirect emission pass, is there a quick fix to this? Id really like to not have to render the scene twice (takes so long lol) thanks -amorales
Guest tar
can you try 'Forced Matte' option in Mantra and not check the Matte shading in the rendering tab. I haven't tried your setup but I think it worked well for some other work I was doing.

Cenk
Adad you can't do that and try to render just emission on a matte object. As far as I know it's not possible in any software.
