Static points on cloth

Hello!

For my cloth object I tried defining few static point on top of cloth where cloth will be hanging from those points. I've tried With DOP constraint node and anchor group pos of those points where it should be attached to. But it doesn't seem to be working. Should I use other constraint nodes for this matter?

In Maya this effect on nCloth could've be done with Transform nConstraint to keep those points on cloth static. Any idea how can I approach this with Constraint node in Houdini?

Thanks in advance.

My apologies I should've been more clearer. It actually kind of does but in my SOP level I have selected points by an expression under a group SOP and I wanted those specific points to remain static. Actually SBD Pin Constraint does the same effect as Target Constraint but I'm not quite sure how to define those point in constraint nodes in DOP net :(

Any idea how I can bring those points in DOP and feed them to a constraint node?

Cool - yes this seems to work when you put the path of the Group node into the Constrained Point of the TargetConstraint.

Not sure if it's needed but moving the group node into the node tree and pasting the path to the the constrained_points node inside the targetcontraint2 node seems to work.

I came to conclusion that there might be something with my Houdini. I went back to my previous HIP files to add the copied relative reference and it seems rather not responding whether added on Anchor Point Group of TargetConstraint or TargetConstraint itself .

Anyhow, Thank you very much for your help! It was incredibly needed :)
