Chops Channel Exporting with multiple objects

Hello all!

 

I have a 100 primitive groups with animation in the scale parameter.

 

How can I get CHOPs to read all these groups. I'm stumped

 

I think the fetch node cannot recursively read in all the group's scale channels.

 

Any other ways? 

 

ps. I'm in houdini apprentice so I know I can't export chan data but just need to see if I can read all the objects into chops

not exactly sure where you are aiming with your setup, but here is altered file

1. it's using scale attribute to scale your copies instead of copystamping as it's much faster

2. chops are applied directly to template points so you can use Geometry CHOPs to bring them in and process dist attribute as you want
