jim c
Messiah (the animation tool), has a nice workflow for copying frames - in the dopesheet or channel editor, if you hit Enter, it bring up a dialog and lets you copy frames/keys from current time to some frame that enter in the dialog popup. It remembers the last value you entered, so you can go from channel to channel, hit Enter 3 time (once to bring up the dialog as a hot key, once to confirm the number in the edit box, and a third time to close the dialog with a default of OK). Makes things pretty quick and easy. Does this already exist in H, and if not, does the python interface give you enough power to do this? Ideally it would be nice to either copy all the current keys in the channel editor at the current frame, or alternately ALL the keys relevant to the highlighted channel groups in the Channel List, iterate the scoped params, and then create keys at a designated frame. edward
To copy the pose at the current frame with your channels scoped, middle mouse on the graph editor frame slider (or thumb) and drag it to the frame you want and then hit K (or CTRL+K if you have non-displayed channels that you don't want to key) in the graph editor. So the workflow is to arrange your channels into suitable (nested) groups for blocking and then select the channel group to work on each block at a time to pose. You can also experiment if middle mouse dragging on the playbar thumb.
edward
PS. Also see the "Channels" menu in the channel editor.
