dayvbrown Posted January 15, 2014 Share Posted January 15, 2014 Hi all. So in regards to the new component contribution workflow on lights, is there a way to remove the sss contribution? Ie; for diffuse you create new component, select or type "diffuse", and turn off that component. All good and works well. I can't seem to find one for sss, so I want a light that doesn't contribute to the subsurface of the shader, eg; so that the light only contributes to the diffuse or spec. I've tried the obvious; sss, sss_single, sss_multi, but no dice. And jumping into the surface model shows the physicalsss shop doesn't have a "component label" parameter like the physically based spec\diffuse. I've attached a simple file wherein hlight1 is only set to contribute diffuse but is still giving me sss.
