TomRaynor Posted May 17, 2014 Share Posted May 17, 2014 I am getting some unexpected results with the creep SOP and was wondering if anyone could shed any light on why... I ray a point onto the surface of a nurbs sphere with UVs, and import the uv attribute from the position on the nurbs sphere where the rayed point hits. I then set the world space position of my rayed point to be the hit uv attribute. When I try and use a creep SOP to creep this point back onto the nurbs sphere I would expect it to take the world space x and y positions of the point and position the point at the position on the sphere corresponding to the UV values of those x and y positions. Where is actually seems to put the point on the sphere is completely different. Any thoughts on why this is happening?
