cbmiles
Hello everyone! This is my first post...... so hello! I have a question regarding control of voronoi fracture pieces once they have left the main body of geometry. I am looking to scale down in size pieces of voronoi geometry once they have left the main body. These pieces will be free falling in the Y axis away from its parent geometry. I want to give the effect that the pieces are disloving/ shrinking. Below I have attached at pic of my scene, any advice would be great. Netvudu
Doing some quick brainstorming I would say there are two simple paths: - If you want to shrink the pieces while they are still "live" in the simulation, this is not yet cached and colliding while shrinking, then you should do the shrinking in a SOP Solver and that´s about it. - If you want to shrink them from the cached simulation then it looks like the job for a ForEach SOP. cbmiles
Hey Netvudu thanks for the reply, I will take a look at these approaches.
cbmiles
Ok I looked at both SOPS and I am confused at what to do, I am rather a novice when it comes to dynamics in houdini.
Netvudu
Actually the SOP solver isn´t a SOP. It´s a DOP node... ...I would like to help, but you are aware you last question is too broad, aren´t you?
