Paint!
Hey all,I'm pretty new to Houdini and I'm having some trouble. I'm following Peter Qunit's basic videos and I've reached a wall. In his video he has this image This is at the scene level for his. However on my viewport which is set to smooth wire shaded I have this at the object level but when I go to the scene level this happens; If I try to change it to say flat wire shaded it all vanishes. Any thoughts? Edited October 15, 2014 by Paint!
Georgie
haha Also, that highlighting is due to a tool being active - in this case it's the universal manipulator. Just hover your cursor over the viewport and press Escape - that will set the tool to be the View tool. Cheers. malexander
Peter is in Flat Wire Shaded display mode, while you are in Smooth Shaded (no wire) mode in SOPs. Georgie is correct, switching to View will remove the highlight. You're seeing the yellow highlight because you're in a manipulation state, and it is showing you which parts of the model will be moved by the handle (ie, all of it). Paint!
OOOH thanks!!! I was also told it had something to do with the GL 3.3? When i swapped to 2.1 it sorted it as well?
