wandersonp Posted December 24, 2014 Share Posted December 24, 2014 This R&D project I created using HDK 13.0 in a few weekends, the geometry and rotations are solved using just C++ code, basically are 2 nodes, "SOP_MegaMinxObject" is geometry procedural generator, the second "SOP_MegaMinxSolver" is the rotation and pointCloud solver that I put inside a Sop Solver. There is no fake rotations like swap colors technique, the rotations are totally full, it is possible for example apply animated or single textures at each face colors to make them scramble for advertising/presentation or something similar The rotations are solved using "magic" quaternions. This is a WIP indeed, but I will try to improve the interface and buttons, and a scramble button I guess. I will created a better animation and render later.
