kgoossens
Hi, I'm confused how to set the pop source If I want to emit a particle at exactly each 100 ms. I use a source and set its birth parameters to the following. impulse Activation/count set to 0 Constant activation 1 Constant birthrate 10 So then I have a random spawing of 10 points within a second. By switching off the probabilistic emission I was hoping to get a regular point emission. But instead I see nothing?
kgoossens
I saw that in the popsource digital asset when probabilistic emission is set to of then the popsource/sopsolver/attribwrangle1newpoint parameter is set to 0. hence no emission. So I could fix my problem by changing the popsource Digital asset. But I have a strong feeling this is not the right approach I'm taking here. Robert
Probabilistic emission seems to only affect the constant birthrate and not the impulse. Maybe try to use impulse emission and make the node cook with 100 ms intervals by changing the fps?
kgoossens
Hi Robert, That could be a way around the issue, but still it feels as something trivial I'm missing.
