ksv1122 Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 Hi guys. i have animation data, it work to maya. so, i used alembic format, move to houdini. this animation object will be make collision to destruction sim. i used static object node, import animation data. but, so heavy and wrong detecting object. once, let me show my sim. pbarua Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 Use staticobject dop and turn on Use Deforming Geometry. Turn on Show Collision Guide Geometry (Show Guide Geometry if using bullet based collision) to see whether it's generating proper collision shape. You can feed your own volume in Proxy Volume and set Mode to Volume Sample this way DOP will read collision volume from SOP. If you are using bullet based collision then turn off Use Volume Based Collision Detection. Play with Geometry Representation and Collision Padding.
