Baking shading into a texture

Hello Guys,

 

I have a simple question.

I have a 3D object. I apply to it a neutral material (like Clay), and then add lights to the scene to get some shading and shadows. Is there a way to bake these into the texture? Is there a way to save this lighting and shadow information applied to the object's UV?
