Juzwa
Hi, I've recently switched from max to houdini. So my thinking is a bit different. I have a setup to create: an exploding tyre. I have done a lot of bullet simulations so my thinking was: I can create a sim with constraints of this object exploding. However this would not be a soft object. But if I could Skin (like skin modifier in max or sth) the object with my sim the whole might behave softer. So.... Can I use a bullet solver data to drive another sim? I'm just guessing here, I don't know Houdini enough if this is a best approach to this example Edited February 23, 2015 by Juzwa
CiaranM
You might try using the cloth capture/deform SOPs? Hi, I've recently switched from max to houdini. So my thinking is a bit different. rayman
You might try using the cloth capture/deform SOPs? Exactly! Combine it with sop solver and you have really nice framework to create bend/tear deformations.
