beny
Hello folks, I've got a kindergarden level issue with pyro smoke sim. I have an emitter emitting density to the pyro container. The density exceeds way over 1, but the diffusion never happens between the voxels. In nature it should expand over the whole container due to the gas pressure and diffusion effect. I've tried Gas Diffuse, Gas Blur and others, but none seems to do the job. Could someone point me in the right direction on this one? I've attached a sample scene file where the issue is visible. Cheers, Beny DiffuseSmoke.hip
pbarua
Density keeps on increasing because by default Source Volume is set to Add. Play with Dissipation and Temperature Diffusion.
rayman
Gas Blur Works just fine. Also, you have to source some divergence to see pressure diffusion. Check attachment. DiffuseSmoke_FIX.hipnc Edited March 4, 2015 by rayman
beny
Sweet! That's what I needed. Thank you rayman. Regarding the gas blur I ment that it works but blurs for a little bit and does not expand the fluid like you did with the divergence field. ps. Thank you Pradeep for looking into it, but that wasn't what I was after. Big thank you guys, M. Edited March 4, 2015 by beny
