michaelb-01
How can I colour particles based on pyro fields? E.g. colour based on temperature/heat. I'm guessing gasfieldtoparticles? But I don't have much experience with microsolvers and not sure of the setup.. Thanks

ciliath
I assume your particles are not in the sim at moment? if not then --> put down a sop geometry node along the first input of your solver, change sop path to wherever your particles are, rename "data name" to something else than Geometry, say tempparticles maybe? then indeed, make use of gasfieldstoparticles, dont think it matters much where you hook it up in this case, so just put it in the fourth input of the solver. In gasfieldstoparticles, rename geometry to tempparticles, give a name to the attribute your wanna create in "attribute", and sourcefield shall refer to the field you're sourcing - in this case temperature. voila, your particles now get the temperature values ask if something of this doesnt make sense to you~
michaelb-01
Hey thanks for your reply, sorry for my late reply! I've cached my pyro sim so now i'm advecting my particles in a popnet, so I guess the setup is slightly different to how you described? Where would I plug a gasfieldtoparticles microsolver in a popsolver..?
