Dezra
Hi everyone. I am currently a user of Houdini Apprentice and I must say I'm hooked! I was considering buying a version of Houdini when I get a little more experienxe with it. Since I doubt I'll be working in a studio (3D is in the stone age where I live ) Houdini Escape looks like the most attractive option , pricewise that is. Although I've searched a lot in forum's and Sesi home page I didn't find any information on Escape's scripting abilities. Is Hscript functional in Escape? Could someone use ,say,Java for Gui's or other functions? Sorry about the large post and thanks in advance.
Jason
Yep, hscript is fully operational in Escape. So are the Java and Python bindings. (Java is where you'd typically make custom GUIs if the Custom Panels or the HDAs are not sufficient.)
