frankengen
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how to attract to an orientation. I have a bunch of paked bullet rbds attrackted to points but I want them to attract to the normals of the points aswell. And preferably I would like to do it in a sop solver as it gives me more control. Hope someone can help. Thank you so much in advance. Frank. frankengen
Does anyone know any other way of doing it outside sop solve? Thanks. Maybe with constraints
pezetko
You can compute difference between current orientation and target direction and then adjust angular velocity to rotate to desired orientation. You will probably need to define more then single target vector (e.g. up and z) to get exact match in orientation. Simple example (with just up direction) attached (I adjusted it for attribvops in H14). AttractOrientation_02.hipnc
