lanchka
I read the post on bridge in the forum. Now i Have a spider like mech where i have a thorax and abdomen done separately. Now is there a way other than polyweld for me to bridge together the 2 borders with QUADS as the polyweld is inevitably giving out tris.Any max user may know about the bridge feature in max 7 and i want to know if there is a similar function available in houdini?(Like bridge except in between 2 polygon borders)?? Cheers Lanchka
sibarrick
Personally I tend to do this by using the divide sop set to remove shared edges and then delete everything except the two edges you want and then skin them together. I know it sounds long winded but it's quite procedural. You can also do what you want with PolyKnit and perhaps PolyStitch too.
