rich_lord
I'm following the Next Steps procedural animation tut 04. I got to the bit about spring network constraints connecting together wire objects. It seemed pretty interesting, as I only thought you could do this stuff with RBDs. However, the nodes have changed since the tut, and I cant recreate it. It works fine for RBDs, but the springs wont stick to the points in the Wire Solve version. The attached hip has two dop nets using the same SOP data. The rbd one works great, the wire one not so much. Any ideas for what the correct hook up is now? Thank you. wire_network_constraints.hip Edited January 16, 2016 by rich_lord
rich_lord
dug into this more. It seems that the new workflow is to use @anchor_id instead of @pointid. That eventually got it all working as expected! 16_17_01_wire_constraints.hip
