Dexter
Hi, guys, I am new to houdini and I was a little bit confused that I can not find the lighting model node in material builder in houdini 15. Has it been hide by side effects?Which node I can use to replace it? Thank you very much!
fathom
are you following an old tutorial or something? lighting model is probably hidden (if not completely removed) as it's pretty old and predates pbr (i think). current tech is "surface model" vop.

jkunz07
The lighting model did support pbr and was the only way of creating an isotropic volume bsdf in vops that I know of. In vex you can just use isotropic() function of course. You can still create a lighting model vop by typing 'opadd lighting' in the textport.
