AndrewVK Posted September 13, 2002 Share Posted September 13, 2002 Imagine I have HiRes 3d model with some kinda sophisticated UV mapping (similar to ones created with UV Unwrap SOP). Converting the model to LoRes with PolyReduce SOP is killing UV coordinates since PolyReduce doesn't takes into account the texture coordinates' seems. Is there any other technique to translate HiRez -> LoRez with UVs kept intact? I'll also appreciate simple step by step tutorial on TextireBaker (mantra -u) usage. (Jason!? ) For example if I have a 3d model with UV coordinates already assigned and per point attribute "MyColor" - how can I upload such attribute to texture?
