JP Shep
Hello, I've been trying to create wrecking ball that I can use to smash into a brick wall. I made one using torus' and a big sphere. However, when I try to simulate it as an RBD packed object in a dopnet they just fall through eachother. Sometimes one will hold for a few seconds but it just falls afterwards. Does anyone have any advice? The objects are blue because collision geometry is on. Edited May 28, 2016 by JP Shep Forgot a detail
djiki
Bullet solver is fast but it's speed is achieved due to limits on shapes it can process. Geometry with hole can not be used. It will be treated like there is no hole. So forget torus-like object with bullet solver. Change solver to RBD solver.
