POPNET - import particles

Hi,

So my setup become pretty heavy and complicated. I dont want to keep adding new stuff to my POPs.

I want to save my particles as they are now. And then import them into new POPNET.

So I created a new popnet, pluged in my saved particles. And I'm happy, everything looks like its working.

However I cannot do anythig with those paritcles. I mean the particles playback from the cache, but nothing affects them.

I can spawn some particles from my points. But then I just loose all data on my new paricles, except those on the spawn frame.

Hmm, not sure if this is the best way (or even A good way, hehe) but you could feed the particles into a POP, then do a per point force setup in a SOP solver, basically try to force the particles to follow your original SIM... Then you'll still be able to add forces, collisions, etc, in top of that.
