MENOZ Posted July 12, 2016 Share Posted July 12, 2016 Hello, is there a place where I can find a clear explanation of how the stamp expression works in DOP context? I am not sure how it is supposed to be used. How/when does it gets evaluated? Why should I use a stamp instead of just reading the parameter? is it like forcing the node to output a value when it cooks? Still confused of this works in DOP. The help only refers to copy stamp in sop, but It can also be found in the old foreach node and in DOP. I guess it has somehow to be supported by the node you're stamping from, if that's the case, how do I know? Any help or indication is very much appreciated, thank you! I think stamping is a "feature" that needs to be supported by the node you are stamping from, is this correct? I can't just stamp from anywhere I want.
