catchyid Posted November 28, 2016 Share Posted November 28, 2016 Hi, I have a path that I use to create clusters for smoke cluster simulation (smoke trail for a missile) and I have the following questions: 1-The clusters created are not aligned with the path (pls, see attached), there is lots of wasted voxels. Is it possible to orient these clusters to match the path direction? 2-Is it possible to manually transform each cluster (i.e. sometimes, I wish the cluster to be moved up a little bit to better cover the path)? 3-Is it possible to increase/decrease the intersection between clusters, i.e. to say I want at least 10% intersection (i.e. no more than 10% and no less that 10%)? I can do that blindly by increasing the padding limits, but I prefer a way to make it explicit and not avoid wasting computation on big intersection or loose accuracy due to no intersection 4-Is there a way to control gas resize fluid dynamic node in pyro simulation such that it increases the cluster to lets say 10% only? Currently I don't that node because because otherwise they will collapse clusters OR grow beyound the cluster initial size (so ALL clusters will increase their sizes to cover the entire smoke trail) Thanks for your help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
