Cloth Simulation with Bullet, how to? video example

Hi guys

 

I see this video from the artist Xanix and i'm trying to replicate this effect:

 

 

 

My problem is i made my voronoi, active group etc for the sim and all works perfectly in this way, but when i try to put constraints, this doesnt work with the active or inactive, and also doesnt work if i create the constraints based in the active/inactive geometry.

 

 

I tried to replicate this effect with cloth solver (fem) but is very slow so i want use bullet and constraints.

 

Any idea?

Sorry! here is my scene file

 

I put a low geometry and also a voronoi with less pieces.

I tried with diferents constraints following the animation but doesn't work in anyway (with my knowledge), i suppose this effect is a bit complicated.
