evanrudefx
Hey,I have a pyro sim, and for some reason, I am still seeing heat in the shape of the source. I turned off the source fuel and temperature, so why am I seeing this? BTW, it only shows in the viewport. When I render, I don't see it.Thanks
mine
Look at your visibility and render flags in your emitter geo node. If you used the shelf tools to setup the pyro sim you must have the render flag in a null, so you are not rendering it
evanrudefx
the emitter geo has nothing showing in either viewport or render. I hid it. Its somehow coming from the pyro node.

evanrudefx
Actually, it can be seen in the render too, I just forgot to scale up the temp in my shader like I did in the visualization node.
evanrudefx
I figured out what it was. Apparently having the burn rate on even if activation for source volume is turned off, you can still see burning around the emitter. I just turned the burn rate to 0 and it disappeared.
