Imatk
Just getting into Houdini and have run through a few tutorials. I'm looking at the shelf dynamic DOP network for rigid bodies and in the network for both static and active there is a merge between the object node and the solver node. I'm just curious... why is that needed? It appears to work without them so I'm just wondering why they were added. Thank you
haggi
If the merge node only has one input, it is not needed. The only advantage of the automatic creation is that you do not have to create it manually in case you want to add some inputs.
