Wolfwood
Coooollll nice find.I wonder if there is a convertToFish anywhere? 21063 I saw this a while back ago and showed one of the programmers at work and they went on to describe this huge technical reason for calling it a potato chip surface (and completely made it not funny anymore.) I suspect its some sort of inside Waterloo joke.
Guest xionmark
GEO_Hull* GU_PrimPoly::convertToPotatoChip( void ); 21058 Yea, I've seen that too ... it's in the 7.0 HDK as well, can't remember if it showed up earlier. I never asked about it thinking that it must be some term that I didn't know about ... humerous to say the least. Never did try the call though ... --Mark
davedjohnson
So, at the risk of losing the humor, (which would be difficult) what did the technical guys try to use to salvage this wonderfully descriptive function call? Is it some kind of implicit Pringle? Or the more exotic Ruffles? Or maybe it's the more "natural" homemade kind in polyunsaturated fat?
