brianwal
Okay I've been trying to bring my camera animation from Maya into Houdini, I found the chandump.mel script, ran it, exported the channels, went into Houdini, ch/ch1/ created a file node, imported the .chan file - saw my pretty camera curves in the viewer, and then couldn't figure out what to do next. I've never used CHOPs before. I tried writing an expression in my camera's translation box: ch("/ch/ch1/file1/chan0") - no errors, but no animation either. So... what do I do? brianwal
nevermind I got it... and for those of you who are curious: add an export chop below the file1, and in the Path make sure you bring in all the chan0...chan1...etc (or if you renamed them, which I recommend you do... tx,ty,tz). I made this about a year ago in my last year in college. If anyone is interested, take a gander. http://studentpages.scad.edu/~lcampb22/tut...s/cam_matching/ Jon
