ykcosmo
I want to use a pic as texture from local network. I can't browse for local network with houdini's UI, how to? But I found I can get into it with //computer name/..../xxx.jpg with this address, I can see the texure in SHOPs, and I can also see it in the openGL viewport, but I can't render it with mantra....... Jason
I'd report this on the SESI 8.0 forum - perhaps it's an easy enough fix for them.

It seems to be fine when rendering with mantra in Houdini 8.0.
ykcosmo
I worked with houdini-8[1].0.383-win32. Is it a bug? It seems that I should copy all the files for every machine to same directory (i3d,textures,and so on) if I want to use mantra netrender????? Not like renderman doesn't need to copy such files to every machine.
