Continious Uvs From A 2x2 Grid -> Pops

Hey, folks.

What I am trying to do is to get "continious" UVs from a 2x2 grid into POPs (with a help of Attribute Transfer). The problem is that the UV values that a see in SpreadSheet are 0 and 1 only.

Here's what I do:

I.

A.

1.Create a 2x2 Polygonal Grid.

2.Append UVProject SOP.

B.

1.Create Popnet Sop. Get into Popnet Sop.

2. Create a Source POP.

3. Append AttribTransfer POP.

4. Choose UVProjectSOP in the SOP parameter of the AttribTransfer POP.

5. Choose uv in the Atttributes Tab of the AttribTransfer POP.

C. Run the simulation, Check the Spreadsheet for the Popnetwork- all U and V are 0 and 1 only.

II. If I create, say 100x100 Polygonal Grid - I get U and V values more or less appropriate (it seems that I get 100 step discretization from 0-1 for U and V)

- though the latter sollution is fine, I think there should be a more elegant way to get continious UVs from a 2x2 polygonal grid (is there?)

Thanks.

I'm not quite sure I understand. Points will naturally get uv's when birthed from the source. See attached for a super simple example. My guess is that since you're using UVProject, you probably didn't initialize it to the right plane (check the uv viewport to see if they're correctly built).

God dammit!

Thanks, edward. I was trying to get from London to Boston through Canberra

Well, this is what experience is.

Here's my initial uber-sollution
