peship
is there a way to blend between constraints ? i mean - constraining a dop object to muliple targets and then set custom weights to the applied constraints ?
SpencerL
You can constrain multiple targets to a single dop obj (ie a piece of cloth constrained by multiple wires/pts), but a blend constraint does not exist at the moment. For example, if you have a piece of cloth constrained to a wire, you will not be able to have the same wire constrained to the cloth as well. One can affect the behavior of the other, but it cannot recieve behavior. Kind of like a parent child relationship. Not sure if that makes sense or helps. craig
Well, if you build your own constraint, instead of using the RBD Constraint asset, you can approximate the effect you are looking for. As a simple example, the attached has the constraint position animated frame by frame, so you could imagine using this as a model for something more complicated, involving a blend between two constraint positions. movingConstraint.hip
