isah_voodoo Posted July 27, 2018 Share Posted July 27, 2018 Hello, I am trying to achieve a fading effect post sim inside of the pyro shader. Normally to achieve a fading effect in sops I can calculate the distance from the center to each point on the geo and plug that into color. I am trying to apply that theory to volumes. However, I do not not how to calculate the center of a volume or import a point attribute into the pyro shader to use that as my center. I have come up with a scene file..i feel like i am very close but i just need to find the center of the volume within the shader.
