isah_voodoo
Hello, I hate to re post this but the shading forum seems pretty dead at the moment and I am really trying to figure this one out.... Basically I am trying to fade my volume from the center inside of the pyroshader. I am able to add noise but for some reason it does not like the distance stuff I am trying to do. When I use the exact same method inside of a volume vop it works...its just the shader that isn't liking it. I will attach my scene and some pictures. One picture shows the method I am doing in the shader and the other shows the same method in a volume vop that works fine...its just the shader I am trying to make work. multiply distance in shader.hip
Gorrod
Transform the surface position you read with the global variables vop to world space or use the rest pos vop and it works. multiply distance in shader.hipnc
