aracid
Hey all Im busy trying to do dominoes using rbdpointobject, and when i use an animated object or a spring to "start" the first domino, the domino's that are ment too fall, start to collapse and then just morph back to their original position. its like they are goaled to it. this only happens when i have a another object merged, ie to act as the ground collision. checked the attached file. any ideas why that happens ? thanks in advance brian dominoes_test_basic_Dynamics_v3.rar

Rafal123
yo aracid, I sometimes see that DOPs work as it should and sometimes not ,so maybe this is a 'implementation' issues?
mtucker
Anytime something doesn't wokr, and you rebuild it and it works, chances are you didn't rebuild it the same way Looking at this simulation, it looked to me like the dominoes were weebles (those toys that wobble around but don't fall down). And just like a weeble, your dominoes all had a really low center of gravity. Just turn on Compute Center of Mass on the RBD Point Object.
