Krion
Hi! I wonder if it is possible to display, inside a SOP network, different flags in different scene views. Just like you can in Fusion by dragging a node into a viewer. Thanks!
davpe
you can have scene views bound with different network views. so if you navigate in one node network you will only see it in the viewport bound to it while other viewport can show something different, if that's what you mean. you can use drag to vieport too. read Pinning and Tab linking section here http://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/basics/panes.html Edited March 16, 2019 by davpe
Krion
I knew a bit about pinning and linking, but i thought this applies to networks paths and panes, not to nodes (display flags) inside a (SOP) network to panes. Is this true? I would like to see (with like multiple 'blue flags') different stages of my SOP network in different Scene Views. MENOZ
you could object merge different stages of your network in other geometries and link those to different viewports. but you can't set 2 distinct display flag in the same network. pezetko
If you don't mind floating windows you can right click on the node and select "Preview Window..." for that node. Work for individual SOPs nodes too.
