tdazz
Hi there I'm new to Houdini and just getting to grips with FLIP fluids. What I'm trying to achieve is to emit fluid from geometry but to emit the fluid so it shoots up rather than pours down with gravity. The effect I'm trying to replicate is a can of soda / beer fizzing up and exploding - ie a kind of fountain effect. Any pointers greatly appreciated! thanks, Tom
jamesr
You need to give it some initial velocity in Y to your source particles. Maybe something like this would help? add_some_v.hip
