Vellum constraints per object

I am currently running into some issues with the "pin to target" constraints.
I have an object I need to retain it's shape as much as possible while still being able to deform and be affected by gravity etc. And the only way I found to do it was to use a vellum constraint type : pin to target with pin type set to soft.

This works all well and fine when I only feed one of those objects into the vellum system. When I have a bunch of them all copies are getting connected to each other.
Is there any way for me to tell Houdini to not connect objects that aren't connected to each other?

hopefully someone can help me with this.

I can also upload a hip file if that helps.
