Saya Posted September 26, 2019 Share Posted September 26, 2019 hi, I was testing on how voronoi fractures works and got some neat results. but the insides of my fractures are black when I render it. ive tried to reverse the normals from the inside group but that didn't solve it. any other ideas perhaps? i've attached a file and screenshot Fractures.hipnc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LucaScheller Posted September 26, 2019 Share Posted September 26, 2019 (edited) Hi Marco, when you fracture your geometry the inside faces automatically get the outside material. Since the inside faces have no uvs they display black with the pig material. You have to create the uvs after the fracture by using e.g. uvtexture/uvflatten/uvproject and using the "inside" primitive group to mask the uv creation.
