ehsanhm
Hi, I have about 100 muscles and bone geometires which have interpenetration. What's the best way to get rid of them by deforming the crashing points? Imagine having two beach balls pressing against each other. They deform where they touch only. Attached is a scene file with a naive attempt which is marked as “bad solution”. Appreciate any help. Cheers, Ehsan penetration_removal_test.hip

anim
you can use Detangle SOP and a bit of smoothing, just make sure you can provide shrunk version of your muscles that don't penetrate penetration_removal_detangle.hip
anim
also if you have bones that you don't want to deform, just want them to deform muscles you can add them as external colliders to detangle penetration_removal_detangle2.hip 3
