MADjestic
Hey, folks I’ve got a curve copied over a grid and I am trying to apply the appropriate primitive number to the bottom point of each curve. If I turn on ‘show primitive numbers’ – I see that every copied curve has a unique primitive number, however when applying $PR with AttribCreate SOP – all I get is 0. On the other hand $NPR (or is it $PRN?) shows the correct total number of primitives. What am I doing wrong? Sorry, it seems that I can't upload the file (maybe I'll try it tomorrow from some inet cafe). Anyway the network set up is really easy - I group the bottom curve points into "goalpoints" (or whatever name you wish) group and then add AttributeCreate SOP, where I make the group "goalpoints", then I change the attribute type to "Point", set the value type to "Integer" and set the value to $PR. It seems that it should work, but it doesn't. Thanks, and sorry for confusion.
MADjestic
Ehh... sorry for double posting - my GPRS connection sucks. I am not even sure that the file was properly uploaded... test4.rar
edward
You file seems to be corrupt, at least according to my installation of 7-Zip. Anyhow, I think $PR would only be available in AttribCreate if your were creating a primitive attribute.
MADjestic
Thanks, Edward Now it makes sense
edward
I've never tried but that certainly sounds like the way you're supposed to do it according to the help: hdox://houdini/content/base/dyn_wire_glue.html
