Garman
Are there any alternatives to xpdf for viewing the Hoduini docs on LINUX. I can't get the docs help to work on LINUX and need to go to the directory and load them. And, booooo, xpdf doesn't show chapters or have a search. -Garman
miguel m
you can get acrobat reader for linux here: ftp://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acroba...inux-506.tar.gz to have houdini lauch xpdf make a symlink placed somewhere in your path: ln -s /blah/xpdf acroread
unxetas
well acroread (acrobat reader for linux) sure is your best bet.. although I think I had better results running the windows version through wine.. Anyway, there are some alternatives to both acroread and xpdf.. ghostview for example.. try searching www.freshmeat.net for pdf view or something, maybe you'll find others have phun!
