How To Render Look Like "rain" ???

Recommended Posts

hi~

i am very beginner of houdini. :)

i have few question about rendering of rain pour.

i setup up a scene and rendered some different way using vex supermaterial, emviroment map and openGL rendering... attach grid to the particle using copy sop.(i did what i could...)

but the result was not satisfied to me and i found some problem.

i though....

1. i can't feel depth

2. need specular

3. although i render the rain with lots of particle(10000), it's not looking abundant enough. some particles are

omitted.(i think the problem is shading and distance from camera)

4. i need a post processing.

in my case, dd spot motorola "pebl" is very close to what i think...
