MENOZ
hello. i'm having some problems with the twist SOP. i want to orient in in a custom direction, not only in xyz provided. how can i do to do this? an xample is this rig... this is for maya http://aniguild.com/abel/?p=25 thanks
edward
You can just rotate the axis you want onto one of them, apply the twist, and then rotate by the inverse. Also check out the TransformAxis SOP to see if it does what you want as well.
MENOZ
i just rotated the axis using transformAxis sop, added the deformer, and a transform sop. with transformaxis i can rotate just an axis at once with his rotate chnnel, and then link this channel to my rotation channel in transfom. it works. but i'd like to have a handle like the one i find in transformAxis (that is referred to direction channels) to control the direction of my squash effect. maybe i need to put 3 transformaxis each one driving his own axis, and driving each rotation channel on transform sop. but how to control these with an AIM like constraint? is there a method to orient the squash with one manipulator? thanks
